Ampworks Electric — Terms of Service

1. These terms
These terms govern use of the Ampworks Electric customer portal and communications platform. The commercial terms for electrical work itself — deposits, quote validity, finance charges, cancellation and restocking fees, and lien rights — are stated on each quote and invoice you receive, and those document-specific terms control for that work.
2. Accounts
Portal accounts are created by invitation. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell the office promptly if you believe your account has been compromised; we may suspend accounts to protect you or the platform.
3. Quotes, approvals, and payments
Approving a quote in the portal — including by electronic signature — is a binding acceptance of that quote and its stated terms, identical in effect to a signature on paper. Payments made through the portal are processed by Stripe; by paying you authorize the charge or bank debit for the stated amount. Deposits, validity windows, late charges, and cancellation fees are those stated on the document you approved.
4. Communications
By providing contact details you agree to receive transactional service communications (scheduling, quotes, invoices, receipts) by email and — with your consent — text message. Text message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours, probe or disrupt the platform, or use it to send unlawful content. We may suspend access that threatens the platform or other users.
6. Platform provided as-is
The portal is provided on an as-is basis. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the SOFTWARE. This section limits only platform liability; it does not limit our workmanship obligations, warranties stated on your quote or invoice, or liabilities that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms by posting a revised version here with a new effective date; continued use of the portal after a change is acceptance of the revised terms. Contact the Ampworks Electric office using the phone number or email address on your quote or invoice with any questions.
