Ampworks Electric — Privacy Policy

Effective July 13, 2026

Who we are

Ampworks Electric ("Ampworks," "we," "us") is an electrical contracting company. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information through our customer portal, field operations platform, and communications. Questions or requests under this policy can be sent to the Ampworks office using the phone number or email address printed on your quote or invoice.

What we collect

  • Contact and account information: name, email address, phone number, and service addresses you provide when requesting service or using the customer portal.
  • Job and billing records: service requests, quotes, work performed, photos and video of the work site captured by our technicians to document the job, invoices, and payment records.
  • Payment details: card and bank payments are processed by Stripe; we never store full card or bank account numbers on our systems.
  • Technical data: sign-in and security logs (such as IP address and time of access) used to protect accounts and diagnose problems.

How we use it

To schedule and perform electrical work, send quotes and invoices, process payments, communicate about your service, keep required business and tax records, and secure the platform. We do not sell personal information.

Text messaging (SMS) program

With your consent — given when you provide your mobile number during service intake or in the customer portal — Ampworks Electric sends transactional service text messages: appointment confirmations and reminders, technician on-the-way notices, quote and invoice notifications, and payment receipts. Message frequency varies with your service activity. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact the office.
  • Opting out of texts does not affect your service; we will use email or phone instead.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

Who we share with

Only service providers that operate the platform on our behalf: Supabase (hosting and data storage), Stripe (payment processing), Intuit QuickBooks (accounting and payroll), Twilio (text delivery), SendGrid (email delivery), and Google Maps (address and routing services). Each receives only what its function requires. We disclose information when the law requires it (for example, tax records or a lawful subpoena).

Retention and security

Job, quote, invoice, and payment records are retained as long as required for warranties, disputes, and tax law. Access to cost and account data is role-restricted; connections are encrypted in transit; integration credentials are encrypted at rest.

Your choices

You may request a copy of your information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of information we are not legally required to keep, by contacting the office. You can opt out of text messages at any time as described above.
